He attended his early education at Igbora Baptist Primary School. As a very bright pupil he entered for his common entrance examination at primary five. He later gained admission into Igbora High School and later proceeded to Kingston School of Graphic, Idiroko Road, Sango, Ogun State. He later attended Rufus Giwa Polythecnic, Owo where he graduated with a 2nd Class Upper in General Art.

He had a brief stint with Daily Times Newspapers of Nigeria, Guy Series Emotype Limited, Renart Limited before setting up his personal company from Daleko Market.

"A.Y" as he is popularly called is a christian and he his happily married with children.
